Who we are

DHARUL IHSAN FOUNDATION is a Sri Lanka based National Non-Governmental and Non-profit organization registered under the Ministry of Social Service and Department of Social Service North-East Province of Sri Lanka under Voluntary Social Services Organizations / Non-Governmental Organization (Registration & Supervision) Act,No.31 of 1980 as amended by Act,No.8 of 1998 Launched in 2018, Dharul Ihsan Foundation seeks to promote sustainable economic and social development by working with local NGOs, community based organizations(CBOs) and communities through relief, rehabilitation and development programs, supporting them to build a better life and find their own solutions to national problems.

Our technical experts are committed to working together with the communities and build upon Participatory Learning and action tools where community needs are assessed and addressed.
We have shifted the paradigm from truck and chuck and succeeded in putting people in the center of development planning.
